Hello there! We’re Kate and Harry, known as Sticks and Stones Floral Design in the (often literal) field. Together we have over 15 years of experience with weddings and special events. We are a passionate, queer couple inspired by natural forms of imperanence. We have a desire to share this fleeting beauty with the world around us and, owing to our shared acceptance that life is indeed precious, our work in floral design is rooted in social equity and economic accessibility. We at S&S openly acknowledge existing and operating on the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Mississaugas First Nationes. We are honoured to make a living from all that which is grown on this land.
Our mission is to bring your wedding vision to life with fresh locally and sustainably grown florals that reflect the beauty of nature in Ontario. To provide our clients with the best service and communication in the planning stages and to WOW every time!
Our Values
We value and prioritize our client’s satisfaction from the moment they inquire to the day of delivery and setup. Transparent pricing, clear and frequent communication and managing expectations is so important in this industry. Making sure that we are the right fit for our couples and other clients means seamless execution and satisfaction. We work with the local flower farming community to ensure sustainability and a lower carbon footprint. Our designs are made without floral foam and we will ALWAYS try to repurpose florals wherever possible. We are an inclusive and queer owned company.
